Reviewing
Operational Efficiency

In the course of our day to day work we often uncover inefficiencies in operational procedures and indeed are specifically instructed, from time to time, to undertake reviews of operational procedures.

The reasons for inefficiencies can be various, but the more common in our experience are detailed below:

  • Process overlay - The practice of superimposing a new process on top of an existing process resulting in duplication of effort
  • Outdated techniques - lack of knowledge of best practice
  • Resistance to change
  • Poor communication, and poor change-management generally
  • Internal politics

Quadrant's unique methods in process and risk mapping quickly identify the problem areas outlined above. Once these problem areas have been identified and agreed with senior management, Quadrant can devise and oversee an implementation programme to ensure optimisation of all processes.
